What are we about? We like to have fun, we have a variety of things planned, such as; * Fund raisers * Outings * Trips * Camps * Retreats * Games * Friends
But most of all, we like
to challenge the youth to be who God created them to be. The Bible talks about three young men and a fiery furnace in
Daniel chapter three. They were cast into the fire because of their morals and belief in God's Word. They
didn't compromise their belief and because of their obedience to God, He rescued them from the fire. They weren't
burned and they didn't even smell like smoke, plus God Himself walked through the fire with them.
Now we don't have to worry
about a fiery furnace today, but the fire is very real in the lives of our young people. They face the fire (peer-pressure,
drinking, drugs, pre-marital sex, relational issues, self-confidence issues...) and the list goes on.
Fire Proof Youth is here to be a safe, fun place where they can be themselves. We teach them practical principles
that come straight from God's Word to help them with the issues they face daily and we listen to them when
they need someone to listen.
They too can face the fire in their lives, with God they can walk through
their trials and not be burned (brought down) by them. They can live a life of no regrets in Jesus Christ!
